Australian injured in terror attack: Jerusalem
15 people were injured overnight in another vehicle-ramming based terror attack, in Jerusalem. The group of mostly soldiers was standing by a busy intersection, when an East Jerusalem Arab rammed his BMW luxury vehicle into the group, seriously injuring at least two.
Jerusalem Post has the story in full:

Despite the fact that one of the injured is an Australian citizen, in Israel on MTA and the brother of a local Jewish resident in Perth, the ABC has chosen not to cover the story, to date.
Update: the ABC has now covered the story. They missed the fact that an Australian was involved and incorrectly listed all injured as soldiers. Story at: http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/09/23/2371727.htm
I am not defending the ABC, but i would like to know where any other media services are reporting any one else but soldiers being injured? From looking at Yediot Achronot (Ynet), Jpost, Arutz7 and Maariv(Nrg), I am yet to see any of them mention any other injured apart from soldiers.

Unlike overseas news outlets, the ABC has a duty to cover stories relating to Australians. When Australians are injured overseas in Lebanon they over it it. When a young Australian female backpacker went missing in Serbia this week, prior to any evidence she is might even be harmed, they cover it.
When an Australian *Jew* is injured in a terror attack, they look the other way. The bias is calculated, obvious and utterly intentional.
September 27th, 2008 at 8:08 pmYisro that is soo stupid to say. How can you be so quick to blame the ABC?!? Once again, I am not a fan of the ABC, but how can you expect them to report an attack where (I apologise I cannot find the source, it seems to have been taken down) Police Commissioner Aharon Franco declared that all the victims were soldiers. On my original point, if the Israeli media is not reporting foreigners being attacked kal ve’chomer how can you expect an Australian agency, who would be basing their reports on Israeli media releases to report an Australian injured. More than that. I wish to congratulate Jewgleperth.com on being the ONLY media source I have seen or heard that is reporting an Australian injured. Perhaps you guys should be sending media releases to the ABC then?
October 1st, 2008 at 8:40 pmI think you should stop playing the ‘poor jew card’ when it is unnecessary. ‘there is a time for everything under heaven’, now is not the time to be blaming the ABC for not reporting an incident nobody knew about.
