A photo of the boy by the name of Peter Schiff, mentioned in the diaries of Anne Frank as “her one true love”, has been uncovered (ABC News). In the diaries, kept by the young girl prior to her capture and eventual death at the Bergen Belsen concentration camp, Anne wrote of Peter: “…Peter was the ideal boy: tall, slim and good looking, with a serious, quiet and intelligent face…” Peter was also captured by the Nazis and was killed in the Auschwitz concentration camp. |
