Questions for Anthony Albanese

1. If it had been a mosque and not a synagogue that had been lit on fire with people inside it last weekend, would you still have gone to the Rugby on Sunday instead of rocking up on the doorstep to show some leadership?

2. A man who was arrested and charged over last weekend’s violance at the Mizon restaurant was on bail for allegedly “threating to kill” a member of the public at a prior anti-Israel rally, and has been reported to be a serial disruptor in Melbourne for several months.  Do you believe the justice system is sufficiently protecting members of the community?

3. How many people in Australia have been actually convicted for hate crimes against the Jewish community since 7 October 2023?  Out of the more than 1,000 reports of anti-Semitic attacks reported to police since the start of 2025, how many charges have been laid, how many prosecutions have been made, and how many people have been jailed and/or deported?  Why do there seem to be almost no consequences for activists that incite or perpetrate terror?

4. Why do you continue to allow protestors who chant slogans calling for the eradication of Israel, death to Israel’s soldiers, and hold placards with pictures of terrorists on them, to protest in the streets of our capital cities every week?  Is this not hate speech?

5. Have you thought about asking Israel, who you said were our ally, to set up a meeting for you with Donald Trump?

6. Why did you dismiss the call to revisit the Executive Council Of Australian Jewry 15 point plan of action to combat anti-Semitism?

7. Why is it legal to sell and wear clothing in the streets of Australia that calls for the death of Jewish people?

8. Will you call for Adrian Collette, the CEO of Creative Australia, to resign after reversing the February dis-endorsement of Khalad Sabsabi and Michael Dagostino’s from representing Australia at the 2026 Venice Biennale over historic artworks that seemingly promoted terrorism.  If you support the display of an image of Narsallah, would you also support the use of an image of Hitler?  Both of them promoted a public manifesto of genocide of Jews.

9. Similarly, do I have this right?  Holding up a picture of Narsallah in the street is a criminal act because Hizbollah is a prescribed terrorist organisation in Australia.  But painting his picture is called art and awarded by the Government with public funding, international representation and commendations?

10. Why does Australia continue to provide Australian taxpayer aid to UNRWA when there is evidence that UNRWA staff were complicit in aiding and abetting Hamas, and participating in their activities including the 7 October 2023 massacre?

 11. Have you commended Israel for destroying the terrorist infrastructure of the Houtis in Yemen so that the their attacks on cargo ships in the Red Sea have been thwarted?  Have you mentioned to Australian’s that cost of living and critical supply chain issues for goods being shipped to Australia have been alleviated as a result of Israel’s action?

12. If there is no place for anti-Semitism in Australia, then why is there anti-Semitism in Australia?
